How does PolicyPage work?
PolicyPage drafts a member-tailored policy brief in three steps. You enter who you are meeting with (chamber, member, district, committee), describe your ask and add any reference material, then click Generate. The AI runs a live web search across official sources, synthesizes the result into a one-page brief with citations, and hands it back ready to edit.
How long does it take to generate a brief?
About 30 seconds in the typical case. The same brief would take a policy analyst two to three hours to research, draft, and format by hand. PolicyPage uses a live web search inside the generation loop, so the citations are current, not pulled from stale training data.
Are the citations real and verifiable?
Yes. Every claim in the brief is tied to a primary source the AI fetched during generation. Bill text, fiscal notes, committee analyses, agency reports, peer-reviewed studies. Each citation links to the source so you can click through and verify before you walk into the meeting.
What states does PolicyPage cover?
Florida is live today. Additional state legislatures and a federal layer are on the roadmap. If you want a specific state prioritized, reach out to hello@policypage.ai and we will move it up the list.
Do I need to edit the brief before I use it?
Yes, you should. PolicyPage is built around the 95/5 split: AI gets you 95 percent of the way there (research, synthesis, formatting, citations), and your judgment finishes the last 5 percent (the specific framing this member needs, the political read, the line you want to land). The brief comes out meeting-ready, but the version you walk in with should be edited to sound like you. The full editor (rich text, brand colors, logo) is built in. More on the 95/5 split here.
How is PolicyPage different from Quorum or FiscalNote?
Quorum and FiscalNote are bill-tracking and stakeholder-management platforms built for enterprise teams. PolicyPage does one thing they do not: it drafts the actual one-page leave-behind for a specific meeting, tailored to a specific member, in 30 seconds. PolicyPage is also priced for individual advocates and small teams (free to $249 per month) instead of multi-year enterprise contracts.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan gives you three brief generations with full AI plus live web search, PDF export, and the editing tools. No credit card required. After the three, you can stay free or upgrade to a paid plan at $19, $79, or $249 per month.
Can I export the brief as a PDF?
Yes. One click. The PDF is pixel-perfect to the on-screen version, so the document you see is exactly what gets handed to the legislator, attached to an email, or shared with your team.
