District office
A district office is a legislator's office located in the area they represent, where constituents can meet the member or staff without traveling to the capitol.
Members split their time between the capitol and home. During recesses, the district office is where they are, and meetings there are often longer and easier to get than capitol meetings.
District staff handle constituent services and local relationships, and what they hear travels back to the legislative team. A district meeting with one page in hand is one of the most underused moves in advocacy.
